CYRILLIC ALPHABET
The artwork entitled "Cyrillic Alphabet" is a composition of orderly written unique Cyrillic letters, created by me in my own developed style. This artwork was written for the "Graffiti Alphabet" project, in which 33 "street wave" artists present their variations of the image of the Cyrillic alphabet.
Graffiti Azbuka is a project that promotes Russian culture through street art. It is based on a printed edition of 33 Cyrillic letters and 33 alphabets by Russian artists of the "street wave".
The project was created by the Foundation for the Support of National Sports, Culture and Education and Dmitry Aske, an artist, popularizer and researcher of street art, who acted as a curator, author of texts and a book layout.
"All languages are good, but Russian is our everything. Cyrillic is unique and this is its strength. Graffiti is the language of the city. Let him speak Russian. Graffiti is a challenge and can be creative. The new time needs a new ABC, and we will create it."
